Mother Magazine interviewed me and Rus Brockman about our mid-2000s project "New Methods of Deception", a manual for paranoiacs in a fully-observed world. Back when we created the piece a lot of it was speculative and dystopic, based on capabilities that didn't exist and immense surveillance systems we were yet to learn of. Mother magazine contacted us due to its timeliness in the current era.
